Most shops give you one deadline. That is useless, because a sticker and a made-to-order beanie are not the same errand.
Here is the honest version, by item. Our word caps and word beanies are patched to order in New York City. Every word on the menu is a patch we keep made up, so the job is stitch and pack rather than build from scratch, which is why they run about a week rather than a month. Tees, totes, stickers and magnets ship from stock. And if you have run out of time completely, walk into the East Village and we print a custom shirt, hoodie or tote in under 30 minutes, right up to Christmas Eve.

Menu word or custom word
This is the one thing worth understanding before you order, because the two have different deadlines.
A word from the menu is a patch we already keep made up. Pick it from the dropdown, we stitch it on and it goes out in about 5 to 7 days. Beanie $25, cap $35. Order by December 8.
A word that is not on the menu has to be made before it can be stitched, so email aliensofbrooklyn@gmail.com or DM @aliensofbrooklyn with the word before you pay. We confirm we can make it and give you a date, then tell you how to check out. Beanie $35, cap $45. For Christmas, get that email in by December 1 so there is room to confirm and make it.

How walk-in printing works in the East Village
Austin, East 6th
Same-day printing on tees and canvas totes, and we are open till midnight on Fridays, which makes us one of the few places on East 6th that can still print a shirt after dinner. Price and timing quoted per order at the counter. Custom hoodies are East Village only.

Group orders and party shirts
Office party, family photo shirts, twelve people who need the same thing before Saturday. Message us a day or two ahead with the head count and sizes and we will tell you straight away whether it is doable. Group orders in Austin, or group shirts in NYC.
Returns over the holidays
Returns within 3 days of delivery. Exchanges within 30 days on stock tees, baby tees and crop tops, unworn and tagged. Full detail on the fine print.
Custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale. Your word, your photo, your hoodie. We cannot sell it to anyone else. Arrived damaged? Email a photo and your order number to aliensofbrooklyn@gmail.com and we will fix it.

International
Order stock items by December 1. Made-to-order pieces will not make Christmas internationally; order those by mid-November or pick a different occasion. Duties and taxes are not included and are collected by the carrier.

What is the last day to order a custom word beanie for Christmas?
December 8 with standard shipping, for any word on the menu. Those patches are already made, so the beanie takes about 5 to 7 days to stitch and pack before it ships. For a word that is not on the menu, email us by December 1.
What is the last day to order a custom word dad hat?
December 8 with standard shipping for a menu word, December 14 expedited. Caps take about 5 to 7 days to make.
What is the last day to order a t-shirt or a tote?
December 15 with standard shipping, December 21 expedited, December 22 overnight by noon Eastern. These ship from stock.
Can I still get something custom after December 15?
Yes, in person. Walk into either shop and we print a custom tee or tote the same day. The East Village does hoodies too and prints in under 30 minutes. Austin is open till midnight on Fridays.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, on US orders of $100 and up, applied automatically at checkout. Pickup from either shop is always free.
