Harry at MSG: Outfit Ideas and Custom Shirts for Your Group

Posted by Aliens of Brooklyn on

Blue Harry photo sweatshirt and trucker caps at Aliens of Brooklyn, East Village

Harry Styles is playing Madison Square Garden through October 31, thirty nights in all, with the last two billed as Harryween. That is a lot of nights and a lot of outfits. If you are going, you already know the dress code is "more." This is our guide to getting there without buying something you will never wear again.

The outfit formula that works at the Garden

MSG is warm inside and cold on the walk to Penn Station, so build in layers you can tie around your waist. The formula we see work over and over:

  • A statement top. A graphic tee, a crop top, or something with sequins, feathers or a slogan. This is the part that ends up in every photo.
  • Something comfortable on your feet. You will stand for three hours. Platforms are fine if you have broken them in.
  • One layer. A hoodie, a cardigan or a jacket you do not mind tying around your waist.
  • A small bag. Check the MSG bag policy before you go; it changes, and security lines are long enough already.

Harry tees from Aliens of Brooklyn

We have six Harry designs on unisex garment-dyed tees, $45 each, in black, white, grey, ivory and blossom, sizes S to 3XL:

Online orders are printed after you buy them, so order with enough time for printing and shipping before your show date. If you are already in the city, call the East Village shop at (929) 314-0080 and ask what is on the wall that day.

Custom shirts for the group, made in the East Village

If your group wants matching shirts, our East Village shop at 304 E 5th St prints your own photos and artwork on a tee while you wait. A single shirt takes under 30 minutes once the art is confirmed, and custom tees start at $45, blank included. Good group ideas:

  • The group chat name in big letters.
  • A photo of your crew from the last tour.
  • Your seat section, the date and a joke only you get.
  • A different shirt for the friend who got the tickets.

One rule: we print your own photos and artwork; we cannot print logos, brand marks or artist merch designs. Bring the file on your phone, or send it ahead through the request form so it is ready when you walk in.

Getting from the shop to the Garden

The East Village shop is about two and a half miles from MSG. The quickest route is usually the F train from 2 Av to 34 St-Herald Sq, then a short walk west to the Garden. Allow about 30 minutes door to door, more on a show night. Our hours: Monday, Tuesday and Sunday noon to 6 pm; Wednesday noon to 7 pm; Thursday to Saturday noon to 8 pm. For an 8 pm show, come in by mid-afternoon.

Harryween: October 30 and 31

The last two shows fall on Halloween weekend, which means costumes. Custom shirts make easy group costumes: everyone in the same shirt with a different word, or one printed photo worn by the whole crew. If you want a custom word cap as part of the costume, those are made to order and take about 5 to 7 days plus shipping, so order by October 17. More ideas in the group Halloween shirts guide.

FAQ

Can you print a Harry photo on a shirt?

We print photos and artwork you own, like a picture you took. We cannot print official artist merch designs, logos or brand marks.

How long does a custom shirt take?

Under 30 minutes for a single shirt at the East Village shop once the art is confirmed. Groups should message the day before.

Do I need to order the Harry tees in advance?

Yes. They are printed to order and shipped, so order with time to spare before your show.

See you on 5th Street before the show. Keep it weird.
