Harryween 2026 at MSG: costumes you can print in the East Village
Posted by Aliens of Brooklyn on
Harryween is back. The last two nights of the Madison Square Garden residency, October 30 and 31, 2026, are the third edition of the Halloween shows that started in 2021, and the rule is the same as it was then: the crowd dresses up. Not a few people. Nearly everyone. If you have a ticket and no costume, this is the guide, and our East Village shop is a 30-minute train ride from the Garden with a press that takes under 30 minutes.
What Harryween actually is
In 2021 he announced a pair of "fancy dress" shows at MSG, and the fans took the phrase literally: the floor and the stands were a costume party, and he came out as Dorothy one night and a Pierrot clown the next. In 2022 it was Danny Zuko. The crowd's costumes split three ways and still do: a straight Halloween costume, a recreation of one of his looks or eras, or a song title or lyric turned into an outfit. Any of the three counts. The only wrong answer is jeans and a hoodie.

Six costumes you can build at a custom print shop
Everything below starts with a plain tee, hoodie or cap and your own image or words, which is exactly what we print. Where the idea leans on a known design, the version we make is the one you draw or photograph yourself.
- A song title, as a word. Pick the title that fits you, put it on a cap or a shirt in big letters, and let the rest of the outfit do the work. The custom word caps and beanies are made to order in NYC, so those need to be ordered by October 17; the walk-in version is a tee, printed while you wait.
- The group as the setlist. One title per person. Stand in order for the photo. Works with four people or fourteen.
- Your own crowd photo. If you were at a previous show, the photo you took from your seat is yours to print. Floor, confetti, your friend mid-scream. It is a costume and a memory at once.
- The era, drawn by you. A sketch of the look you are recreating, printed on the tee under the actual outfit, so the reference is unmistakable even from the 300 level. Your drawing, not the official artwork.
- The couple or the crew with one joke. "Section 213" and the date. The group chat name. Whatever you will still laugh at in March.
- The blank-canvas costume. A white tee and fabric markers, signed by everyone around you during the opener. Technically not printing. We approve anyway.

One rule, stated plainly
We print your own photos and artwork and the words you choose. We do not print official artist merchandise designs, tour logos or brand marks, and we cannot copy a design from a merch booth or a website. A photo you took, a drawing you made, a phrase you chose: yes. If you are not sure which side of the line your idea sits on, email it to aliensofbrooklyn@gmail.com before you come and we will tell you straight.
Timing for the two nights
- Custom word caps and beanies: made to order, about 5 to 7 days to make plus shipping. Order by October 17, or choose pickup at 304 E 5th St and collect the week of the show.
- Walk-in tees, hoodies and totes: under 30 minutes once the art is confirmed, right up to the day. Friday October 30 we are open noon to 8 pm; Saturday October 31 noon to 8 pm. For a show that starts around 8, come in by mid-afternoon; Halloween weekend is the busiest week of the year at the counter.
- Groups of eight or more: send sizes and the art the day before through the request form so the blanks are pulled when you arrive.
Shop to Garden

From 304 E 5th St: F train from 2 Av to 34 St-Herald Sq, then a short walk west to Penn Station and the Garden. About 30 minutes door to door, longer on a show night. Through October 31 we are also at Chelsea Market inside Artists & Fleas, daily 11 am to 7 pm, with the caps, beanies and tees but no press; printing happens at 5th Street.

FAQ
Can you print a photo of Harry on my shirt?
We print photos you own, like one you took at a show. We cannot print official artist merch designs, logos or brand marks.
How late can I get a shirt printed before the show?
The shop is open until 8 pm on both nights. A single shirt takes under 30 minutes once the art is confirmed, so mid-afternoon is safe; after 6 pm is a gamble that week.
Can a group all get different shirts?
Yes. Different words or photos per shirt is normal. Send them all at once, the day before if there are more than eight of you.
See you in costume. Keep it weird.
